The Board of Health:
1. Appointed the following members to the Medical Officer of Health Performance Appraisal Committee for a term ending on December 31, 2017 and until successors are appointed:

2. Appointed Peter Wong to alPHa's Board of Directors and Board of Health section, and authorized expenses incurred by the Board of Health appointed representative with this participation and attending alpha's semi-annual meetings/conferences in 2017, within the approved 2017 budget.
3. Encouraged the participation of all Board of Health members at alPHa Board of Health section meetings and semi-annual meetings/conferences held in Toronto in 2017, and authorized expenses associated with this participation, within the approved 2017 budget.

The Board of Health on March 20, 2017 deferred consideration of the following Recommendations 2 and 3 in the report (February 15, 2017) from the Acting Medical Officer of Health until the Board of Health meeting on May 17, 2017:
The Acting Medical Officer of Health recommends that:
2. The Board of Health appoint a civic member to alPHa's Board of Directors and Board of Health Section, and pay expenses incurred by the BOH appointed representative when they participate at these meetings and when they attend alPHa semi-annual meetings/conferences in 2017, within the approved 2017 budget.
3. The Board of Health encourage the participation of all BOH members at alPHa Board of Health Section meetings and semi-annual meetings/conferences held in Toronto in 2017, and pay expenses associated with this participation within the approved 2017 budget.
