Review Order Paper
June 28, 2017 at 9:46 a.m. – Speaker Nunziata advised Council that this special meeting of Council has been called for the following purposes:
1. to fill the vacancy in the Office of Councillor, Ward 44 Scarborough – East by considering and appointing candidates to the Office in accordance with the procedures adopted by City Council at its May 24, 25 and 26, 2017 meeting; and
2. To introduce and enact by-laws for this Special Meeting.
The Speaker advised Council that this is a special meeting, separate from the regular meeting that starts next week. Under Council’s Procedures, no other business items, such as Notices of Motions, may be introduced. This rule cannot be waived.
