Community Council Decision

The Toronto and East York Community Council:

1. Authorized the temporary parking regulations on streets in the vicinity of Exhibition Place that are impacted during the Canadian National Exhibition, identified in Appendix A attached to the report (April 28, 2017) from the Acting Director, Transportation Services, Toronto and East York District, with Appendix A amended by adding the following under the heading No Standing:

Highway	Side	Between	Prohibited Times or Days
Tyndall Avenue	West	Thorburn Avenue and King Street West	Anytime from and including Fri. Aug. 18, 2017 to and including Mon. Sept. 4, 2017

Summary

This staff report concerns a matter for which the Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. The temporary parking amendments recommended are required to enhance traffic operations and pedestrian safety during this year's Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), which takes place from August 18 to September 4, 2017, inclusive.
