Decision Advice and Other Information

The Chair, Economic Development Committee presented the 2017 Partnership to Advance Youth Employment (PAYE) Leadership Awards to the following recipients:

  

- YouthConnect: the CivicAction Leadership Foundation and LinkedIn Canada for achieving meaningful and measurable outcomes that increase access to economic opportunities for Toronto youth.  Leslie Dominico, Senior Program Manager accepted the award for CivicAction Leadership Foundation.  Chris Brown, Director of Talent Solutions in Canada accepted the award of LinkedIn Canada.

 

- Oxford Properties, Yorkdale Shopping Centre for engaging business colleagues and professional networks to partner with PAYE.  Mina Barbuto, Marketing Director and Clair Santamaria, Yorkdale Director and General Manager accepted the award on behalf of Oxford Properties.

 

- Youth Employment Partnership (YEP) Network for bringing forward opportunities (networking, skills development, training, work experience and jobs) for youth. Diana Gatti, West Scarborough Neighbourhood Community Centre, and Chris Brillinger and Craig Milson from Social Development, Finance and Administration, City of Toronto accepted the award on behalf of YEP.

Summary

Toronto Employment and Social Services will be conferring three awards to individuals / organizations that have made significant impact / contributions to the City's Partnership to Advance Youth Employment (PAYE) program in 2017. 

 

Awards will be presented at the Economic Development Committee meeting for the following categories: Influence, Impact and Involvement.
