Item - 2018.MM38.33

City Council on March 26 and 27, 2018, adopted the following:

1. City Council direct the City Solicitor and appropriate City staff to attend the Toronto Local Appeal Body in order to oppose the appeal regarding 74 Royal York Road unless the Toronto Local Appeal Body imposes the conditions of approval detailed in the report (January 8, 2018) from the Director, Community Planning, Etobicoke York District and the memorandum (January 3, 2018) from the Manager, Traffic Planning/Right of Way Management,Transportation Services, and any other such conditions that are deemed necessary or appropriate to the satisfaction of the City Solicitor, in consultation with the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning, or designates, and the General Manager, Transportation Services, or designates, and the local Ward Councillor, and to retain outside consultants, as necessary.
 

2. City Council authorize the City Solicitor, and any necessary staff, to take all steps necessary, at the City Solicitor's discretion, to bring resolution to the matter, in consultation with the local Councillor.
