City Council Decision
City Council on March 26 and 27, 2018, adopted the following:
1. City Council amend the proposed Site and Area Specific Policy as set out in the confidential attachments to motion 1 by Councillor Stephen Holyday.
2. City Council direct that Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 to the report (February 5, 2018) from the City Solicitor remain confidential as they pertain to litigation or potential litigation that affects the City or one of its agencies or corporations and they contain advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege.
3. City Council authorize the release of the confidential attachment to motion 1 by Councillor Holyday.
The amendment to the Site and Area Specific Policy as set out in the confidential attachment to motion 1 by Councillor Stephen Holyday was adopted by City Council and is now public, as follows:
1. City Council amend the proposed Site and Area Specific Policy to exclude lands municipally known in the year 2017 as 5395 to 5409 Eglinton Avenue West as set out in the confidential attachment to this motion.
The confidential attachment to motion 1 by Councillor Stephen Holyday is now public and can be accessed under Background Information (City Council).
Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 to the report (February 5, 2018) from the City Solicitor remain confidential in their entirety in accordance with the provisions of the City of Toronto Act, 2006, as they pertain to litigation or potential litigation that affects the City or one of its agencies or corporations and they contain advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege.

Committee Recommendations
The Planning and Growth Management Committee recommends that:
1. City Council adopt the confidential instructions to staff in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (February 5, 2018) from the City Solicitor.
2. If the confidential instructions in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (February 5, 2018) from the City Solicitor are adopted, City Council authorize the public release of:
a. the recommendations contained in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (February 5, 2018) from the City Solicitor, with the remainder of Confidential Attachment 1 to remain confidential, as it contains advice subject to solicitor-client privilege; and
b. Confidential Attachment 2 to the report (February 5, 2018) from the City Solicitor.
