City Council Decision

City Council on December 17 and 18, 2019, adopted the following:

 

1. City Council direct the General Manager, Transportation Services to report back to the Infrastructure and Environment Committee in the first quarter of 2020 on a strategy to accelerate design work on the Eglinton Connects Streetscape Improvements to align with the opening of the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit, including a plan to coordinate with Metrolinx any construction between stations along Eglinton Avenue.

 

2.  City Council request the General Manager, Transportation Services, in consultation with the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning, to report to the Infrastructure and Environment Committee in the second quarter of 2020 with a reassessment of the Eglinton Connects Streetscape Study that considers the impacts of the increased population growth projections in the Yonge-Eglinton area since the original study was prepared.
