City Council Decision

City Council on February 26, 2019, adopted the following:

 

1. City Council direct City Planning staff, in consultation with appropriate staff in Municipal Licensing and Standards, Toronto Buildings, Economic Development and Legal Services, to conduct an analysis of restaurant and bar uses in Kensington Market and to report back on the actions to protect the mix of uses in Kensington Market and control the impacts of bar and restaurant uses.

Kensington Market Restaurant Study

   

Reason for Urgency:

 

This Motion is urgent as there has been an increase in restaurants and bars which contribute to unruly behaviour of patrons that spills out onto resident streets.
