Community Council Decision
Scarborough Community Council directed that:
1. Staff schedule a community consultation meeting for the application located at 1625 Military Trail and 6000 Kingston Road together with the Ward Councillor.
2. Staff provide notice for the community consultation meeting to landowners and residents within 120 metres of the application site, and to additional residents, institutions and owners to be determined in consultation with the Ward Councillor, with any additional mailing costs to be borne by the applicant.
3. Staff, in consultation with the Ward Councillor, establish a working group comprised of landowners, residents and businesses in the Highland Creek Village and surrounding community to provide community input to inform the implementation of the Highland Creek Community Secondary Plan and Highland Creek Transportation Master Plan, including submitted development applications, parks and public realm improvements and mobility initiatives within the Highland Creek Village.

This report provides information and identifies a preliminary set of issues regarding the application located at 1625 Military Trail and 6000 Kingston Road. Staff are currently reviewing the application. It has been circulated to all appropriate agencies and City divisions for comment. Staff will proceed to schedule a community consultation meeting for the application with the Ward Councillor.

That Scarborough Community Council:
1. Adopt the staff recommendations in the report (January 17, 2020) from the Director, Community Planning, Scarborough District, amended by adding the following new Recommendation 3:
"3. Staff, in consultation with the Ward Councillor, establish a working group comprised of landowners, residents and businesses in the Highland Creek Village and surrounding community to provide community input to inform the implementation of the Highland Creek Community Secondary
Plan and Highland Creek Transportation Master Plan, including submitted development applications, parks and public realm improvements and mobility initiatives within the Highland Creek Village."
